Family Support

Eating disorders and substance abuse are devastating struggles.

They don’t just impact an individual - they affect entire family and social systems.

If you have a loved one who is struggling with either of these, you may be wondering how you can support them in their healing.

I’m here to help you feel calmer and clearer in your support role.

How an IFS Therapist Can Help

As an eating disorder therapist and substance abuse counselor with extensive experience, I provide gentle, specific guidance for how you can best support your loved one.

Through a non-judgmental approach, I walk you through the hows and whys of eating disorders and substance abuse, including:

  • What to say and what not to say to your loved one

  • How to talk about your loved ones struggles

  • Debunking myths and gaining knowledge

  • Connecting you with trusted resources

How Appointments Work

We will meet on a Zoom video call on a set day and time.

Family support sessions are short-term and as needed. We can meet once or a few times depending on your family’s needs.

Please note this is not family therapy. These sessions are intended to be short-term and are geared toward providing you with specific information for supporting your loved one.
